PlateSure provides two main services:
Each paid report includes:
The vehicle history data sections of our reports (finance, write-off, stolen, mileage, and keeper checks) are sourced from MyCarCheck, operated by CDL Vehicle Information Services Ltd. This data carries a £30,000 data guarantee.
If information in these data sections is found to be factually incorrect and you suffer direct financial loss as a direct result of purchasing a vehicle in reliance on that incorrect information, you may be eligible to make a claim under MyCarCheck's guarantee scheme.
The guarantee applies only to the data check sections listed above. It does not apply to PlateSure's model intelligence sections, reliability scores, pricing guidance, viewing checklists, or buying verdicts, which are based on PlateSure's own analysis and are provided without warranty.
Full guarantee terms and eligibility criteria are available at mycarcheck.com.
Important: PlateSure reports are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional mechanical, legal, or financial advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any vehicle purchase decision.
Specifically:
Reports are priced at £9.99 per check. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Because vehicle history reports involve the immediate retrieval of live data from third-party databases, they are delivered digitally and cannot be refunded once the report has been generated and delivered to your email address.
If you have not received your report within 30 minutes of payment, please contact us at support@platesure.co.uk and we will resend it or issue a full refund.
If the data in your report is factually incorrect in a material way, please contact us and we will investigate. Claims relating to incorrect data may be eligible under the £30,000 MyCarCheck guarantee — see Section 4.

You agree not to:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secure Data Hygiene Ltd's total liability to you in connection with PlateSure shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report in question (£9.99).
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of PlateSure, including but not limited to losses arising from a vehicle purchase decision made in reliance on our reports.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
